Salt Mist Studio found its’ beginnings in the small, seaside town of Dunsborough, Western Australia, where people come to escape the city and explore the beautiful coastlines of the Margaret River region.
Owned and run by Tim Campbell, an international award winning oceanic photographer, there’s no wonder these images are heavily influenced by the sea and echo the chilled out lifestyle the coast has given us all.
So many folks come to this part of the world wanting to tie the knot in a way that represents the lifestyle they’ve built together, I mean why get married somewhere that doesn’t make you feel at home? - Tim.
On the surface we’re relaxed, authentic and fun, we blend into the party and become instant friends with everyone so that a camera is the last thing on anyone’s mind, but below the surface we’re incredibly passionate photographers with over a decade of experience who truly realise that this kind of photography is about human connection and deep relationships. Materialism isn’t really a value we posses and forcing people to pose like they’re some sort of Vogue model is definitely not how we work. The best way to describe what we do is tell stories, and in your case it’s the story of those people who you value the most in life all coming together for one epic, emotionally charged day out, tears and all.
